Job summary

ODW Logistics, Inc. is hiring a Mobile Maintenance Technician to diagnose, inspect, and repair a fleet of tractors, trailers, reefers, and yard equipment. The role covers the Columbus area, with a company-provided service truck and emphasis on safety, documentation, and timely diagnostics.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, DOT inspections, on-site repairs, and clear communication with drivers and operations. A valid license is required; CDL-A preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of diesel, trailer, or fleet maintenance experience.
• Experience working on commercial transportation equipment preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL Class A preferred but not required.
• Ability to document inspections, repairs and parts usage.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, refrigeration, and trailer issues.
• Repair and maintain diesel engines, brakes, suspensions, tires, and electrical systems.
• Perform DOT inspections and ensure safety compliance.
• Troubleshoot roadside and on-site repair needs.
• Test repairs and document work in maintenance software.
• Maintain parts usage records and communicate status to management.
