Job summary

Allstate Peterbilt Group is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks and trailers. The role covers shop and occasional roadside work, with responsibilities including parts coordination, documentation, and road testing in Fargo, ND.

The position offers extensive training, safety-focused operations, and opportunities to mentor less-skilled technicians within a network of dealerships. Eligibility for multiple health, dental, and 401(k) plans is included.

Qualifications

• Diagnose cause of malfunction and perform repair in shop type atmosphere.
• Maintain accurate vehicle service documentation and repair orders.
• Provide clear communication with parts department and customers.
• Ensure safety compliance and proper handling of tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose cause of malfunction and repair in shop type atmosphere and on occasion, road side situations.
• Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Road test vehicles when required.
• Mentor less-skilled technicians as assigned.
• Follow all service policies to insure safety, profitability and accuracy.
