Prestige Fleet Services in Milwaukee, WI is seeking skilled diesel technicians to repair Class 6-8 tractors and perform DOT inspections. You will work with a team that values craftsmanship and safety, using modern tools and mobile devices to create efficient work orders.

This role requires 3+ years of experience, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50+ pounds, and comfort with computers for billing. We offer weekly pay, overtime, PTO, health insurance, retirement match, and ongoing

Qualifications

• 3+ years repairing Class 8 tractors with occasional trailer work.
• Experience with annual federal inspections and brake inspections.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Comfortable working with computers for billing and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, and repair Class 6-8 tractors with minimal trailer work.
• Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections; service and replace parts like tires, hubs, axles, and lift-gates.
• Write work orders and open/close repair orders on a company device for mobile road calls and in-yard work.
• Inspect tractors and trailers to meet the USDOT road safety requirements.
• Manage service truck inventory and source parts from local vendors.
• Complete inspection reports and DOT documentation accurately and on time.
• Deliver strong customer service and report findings to management.
