Transwest Mobile Truck Repair in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Mobile Diesel & Heavy Equipment Technician with 5+ years of diesel and heavy equipment repair experience. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems on mobile, in-field, and shop equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 5+ years of diesel/heavy equipment or automotive repair experience.
• Working knowledge of engine, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
• Must supply a set of professional tools for the job.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work indoors/outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems on heavy‑duty, medium, and light duty equipment.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Use diagnostic tools and service manuals to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Build strong relationships with customers, providing clear communication and excellent service.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
• Follow all safety regulations and standards while working in the shop and field.
• Collaborate with the team to support efficient shop operations.

What You’ll Do

What You Bring

• Experience across multiple vehicle makes and models
