Qualifications

ABOUT THE BRAND:

CS Truck & Trailer Repair is your comprehensive service provider for all truck and trailer maintenance and repairs, including mechanical, paint & body, and mobile services. We specialize in medium and heavy-duty over-the-road tractor and trailer repairs. Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, including brakes, diagnostics, A/C systems, electrical systems, engine components, exhaust systems, after-treatment systems, lift-gates, tires, etc.
• Manage maintenance schedules, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair or replace vehicle and trailer components.
• Open and close repair orders using company-issued devices.
• Source parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck.
• Complete DOT forms and other documentation accurately and promptly.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE

• At least 5 years of experience in diesel and trailer repair preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Flexibility to work extended or irregular hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Proficiency with computers/tablets for electronic work order processing, including recording labor hours and updating statuses.
• Experience with federal inspections and brake inspections.
• Background in truck/trailer maintenance and repair or equivalent experience and education.
• Basic computer skills.
• Proper tools for the job are required.

WHAT WILL HELP YOU STAND OUT

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications are advantageous.
• Welding experience.
• CDL license is a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions.
• The candidate must be able to meet all physical requirements of the role, with or without accommodations.
