The Mobile Service Technician is responsible for maintaining the fleet for clients and handling service calls at client locations. Responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, cleaning, maintenance, visual inspections, parts removal, installation with manuals, report writing, disassembly, assembly, parts reuse evaluation, and reconditioning.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain all equipment according to company standards.
• Perform basic maintenance such as fueling, oil checks, cleaning, and inspections.
• Manage inventory on the service truck.
• Report to the Service Manager and complete assigned duties.
• Be available for after-hours service calls and flexible scheduling.
• Maintain and inventory tools for diesel engine truck maintenance.
• Read job orders and diagnose vehicle malfunctions.
• Use diagnostic equipment and technical info for repairs.
• Replace parts like injectors, pistons, cylinder heads, bearings, clutches, brakes, batteries, transmissions, etc.
• Document work and perform diagnostics on the company computer system.
• Check safety devices and make adjustments.
• Lubricate parts and verify repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely.
• Respond to customer inquiries and foster positive relations.
• Advise customers on future repairs/services.
• Participate in training and apply learned skills.
