Fleet Services by Cox Automotive, headquartered in Indianapolis, is one of the largest fleet maintenance companies in the country. We provide on-site mobile maintenance and repair services for light to heavy-duty trucks and trailers nationwide.

Job Description

The Mobile Diesel Technician I will perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, light repairs, and assist higher-level technicians. Work is frequently audited for quality, and adherence to safety and performance standards is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and repairs on vehicles in a mobile environment.
• Conduct minor repairs on various truck systems including electrical, brake, cooling, engine electronics, and more.
• Manage parts inventory and operate company vehicle safely.
• Document work performed and communicate effectively with clients and management.
• Follow safety policies and maintain company equipment.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED with up to 2 years of related experience.
• Own a set of hand tools necessary for the job.
• DOT physical and background screening compliance required.
• Valid driver’s license and at least 21 years old.

Preferred Certifications

• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
