Job summary
Amerit Fleet Solutions in Forest Park, GA is seeking a Travel Diesel and Trailer Technician/Mechanic with Tractor-Trailer experience to join our nationwide fleet team. This role combines hands-on maintenance with travel, servicing trucks across locations while reporting to a supervisor and coordinating with drivers.
Salary is $35.00-$42.00 per hour with weekly pay, full benefits within 30 days, and opportunities for ASE reimbursements, training, and advancement nationwide.
Qualifications
- 5+ years’ hands-on Tractor-Trailer maintenance and repairs.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Own and maintain personal tools and toolbox.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on Tractor-Trailer fleet vehicles.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
- Conduct inspections to ensure safety and compliance standards.
- Accurately document repairs and complete work orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools and equipment.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support fleet operations.
