Amerit Fleet Solutions in Keasbey, NJ, is seeking Diesel & Trailer Technicians/Mechanics to perform maintenance and repairs on medium- to heavy-duty fleet vehicles, including switches, trailers, and yard trucks. You will diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and document work orders.

Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on diesel vehicle maintenance and repairs on Switchers and/or trailer repairs.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to own and maintain personal tools and toolbox.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Willingness to meet physical demands and pass a DOT physical if required.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on medium- to heavy-duty fleet vehicles.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
Conduct inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
Accurately document repairs and complete work orders.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and tools.
