Job summary

Prestige Fleet Services is hiring skilled technicians to help with on-site truck and trailer maintenance and repairs. You will perform inspections and a range of repairs at customer locations, using cutting‑edge tech to minimize admin time and maximize productive work hours.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy and reliability. We value experience in diesel and trailer repair, strong communication, and flexibility with hours, including potential weekend work.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of diesel and trailer repair experience preferred.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work extended hours, including weekends/holidays when needed.
• Valid Driver’s License required and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers (brakes, diagnostics, A/C, electrical, engine components, exhaust, after-treatment, lift-gates, tires).
• Schedule and oversee maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair/replace vehicle/trailer components and manage parts inventory for the service truck.
• Open and close repair orders on company devices and document labor hours.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and update labor statuses in the system.
• Accurately complete DOT forms and related documentation promptly.
