We are currently hiring a Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician.

The Sr. Mobile Diesel Technician performs licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, light and advanced repairs, diagnostics, and other duties. They are relied upon for complex diagnostics and are considered the lead on jobsites, acting as a consultant to customers. A successful candidate complies with all policies and meets performance metrics.

DUTIES:

1. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on vehicles in a mobile environment.
2. Perform minor adjustments and repairs on truck equipment, including electrical, brake, cooling systems, starters, alternators, and more.
3. Diagnose, adjust, and repair various truck systems, using test instruments and road testing vehicles.
4. Manage parts inventory and perform safety checks and inspections.
5. Communicate effectively with clients and support teams, document work, and complete forms accurately.
6. Work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain productivity.
7. Use hand tools, diagnostic tools, welding equipment, and lifts.
8. Maintain company vehicles and ensure safety compliance.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
• Own set of hand tools.
• OEM training and certifications preferred.
• Ability to pass DOT background screening and physical.
• Valid driver’s license, at least 21 years old, with a clean driving record.

CERTIFICATIONS (within 18 months):

• ASE T6, L1, L2 (preferred)
