We provide on-site mobile maintenance and repair services nationwide, servicing light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks and trailers. Our services include accident repair, painting, refurbishment, and heavy mechanical repair at over 50 nationwide service centers. Supported by a 24/7 call-center, we offer scheduled and unscheduled fleet services anywhere, anytime.

We are currently hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II.

Role Overview: The Mobile Diesel Technician Level II performs licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, light repairs, and diagnostics. Under supervision, they handle more advanced diagnostics and repairs, continuing to develop their mechanical and diagnostic skills. The technician complies with all company policies and strives for high performance metrics.

Responsibilities include:

  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on various vehicles in a mobile environment.
  • Conduct minor adjustments and repairs on truck equipment, including electrical, brake, cooling systems, and engines.
  • Diagnose malfunctions using test instruments, test drive vehicles, and determine necessary repairs.
  • Manage parts inventory, perform safety checks, and ensure vehicle readiness.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members, document work performed, and complete all required forms accurately.
  • Operate tools and equipment safely, maintain company vehicle, and adhere to safety policies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED with 5 years’ related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Own a set of hand tools necessary for the job.
  • Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) and 608/609 certifications within 18 months.
  • Pass DOT background screening and physical; valid DOT medical card preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and clean MVR.

Certifications Needed within 18 Months:

  • ASE T8 (PMI)
  • ASE 608/609

Preferred Certifications:

  • ASE T3, T4, T5, T6, T7, A8, L1

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and physical ability to perform labor-intensive tasks.
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools, judge distances, and apply logical reasoning.
