We are currently hiring a Mobile Diesel Technician Level II.

The Mobile Diesel Technician Level II will perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, light and follow-up repairs, and diagnostics on diesel and gas trucks, under supervision of senior staff. This role involves learning advanced mechanical skills and diagnostics, complying with company policies, and achieving performance metrics.

DUTIES:

1. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, DOT inspections, and follow-up repairs on vehicles in a mobile environment.
2. Conduct minor adjustments and repairs on various truck components, including electrical, brake, cooling systems, and engines.
3. Diagnose and repair equipment, using test instruments and road testing vehicles.
4. Manage parts inventory and perform safety and pre/post-trip vehicle inspections.
5. Communicate effectively with clients, manage multiple tasks, and document work accurately using company tools.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. High School Diploma/GED + 3 years’ related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Possess necessary hand tools.
3. Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
4. Pass DOT background screening and physical; valid DOT medical card preferred.
5. At least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Certifications to obtain within 18 months:

• ASE T8 (PMI)

Preferred Certifications:

• ASE T3, T4, T5, T6, T7, and 608/609

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and physical ability to perform labor-intensive work.
