• 3 years’ experience or equivalent education/certification with 5 years’ experience.
• Must obtain ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.

The Mobile Diesel Technician Level II will perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs, including diagnostics and minor mechanical work. This role involves working independently in the field, managing parts inventory, maintaining safety standards, and documenting all work performed.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform scheduled maintenance, DOT inspections, and repairs on various vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, brake, cooling, engine, transmission, and other systems.
• Road test vehicles and document repairs accurately.
• Manage parts inventory and maintain safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED with 3 years’ experience or equivalent education/certification with 5 years’ experience.
• Valid driver’s license and DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain one).
• Own a set of hand tools necessary for the job.
• Obtain ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.

Preferred Certifications:

• ASE T3, T4, T5, T6, T7, T8 (PMI), and 608/609 certifications.
