Job summary

Road Runner Wrecker Service, Inc. in Leesburg, VA is seeking a Mobile Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of light-duty and heavy-duty tow trucks. This is a full-time, in-person position requiring on-site work.

You will diagnose diesel engines, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic issues, and keep accurate service records. Tools are provided; health and retirement benefits included; pre-employment drug screen required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years diesel engine repair experience (Required).
• Strong diagnostic skills (not just parts replacement).
• Experience with heavy-duty trucks preferred.

Road Runner Wrecker Service has been a leader in towing and recovery since 1992. We are seeking an experienced Mobile Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of light-duty and heavy-duty tow trucks.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems

• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections

• Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic issues

• Complete mobile repairs as needed

• Maintain accurate service records

Requirements:

• 3+ years diesel engine repair experience (Required)

• Strong diagnostic skills (not just parts replacement)

• Experience with heavy-duty trucks preferred

• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card

• Must be able to commute to Leesburg, VA
