Job summary

Clean Harbors, Inc. in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Mechanic to maintain, inspect, and repair our fleet across branch locations. This role emphasizes safety and hands-on work with heavy trucks and related equipment.

You will perform PMs, repairs, and inspections, travel to other sites up to 70%, and work with PPE. Valid driver's license, 1+ year experience, and ability to pass background and drug tests are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• 1+ years experience working on heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
• 1+ years DOT inspection experience required.
• Must provide own basic tools.
• Willingness to travel within assigned territory up to 70%.
• Ability to pass background, drug, and physical tests.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety is the top priority by following all safety practices and policies.
• Correct equipment deficiencies and perform preventative maintenance on company-owned equipment.
• Inspect equipment to identify unsatisfactory conditions.
• Comply with PPE requirements during all activities.
• Travel to other locations to repair and maintain equipment as required.
• Complete and submit paperwork for PM schedules.
• Maintain active light-duty or DQ driver status as applicable.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
