Clean Harbors in Huber Heights, Ohio is seeking a Diesel Vehicle Mechanic to maintain and repair our company fleet with a safety-first mindset. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and support drivers in keeping equipment on the road.

This role offers training, tools, and opportunities for certification, plus competitive wages and benefits after probation. You’ll work in state-of-the-art facilities and be part of a team dedicated to environmental and workplace safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years experience with heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
• 1+ years DOT inspection experience.
• Must provide own basic tools.
• Related mechanical certifications preferred.
• Ability to pass a background, drug, and physical test on hire.

Responsabilités

• Prioritize health and safety in all tasks and follow safe work practices.
• Move company equipment on yard as needed.
• Assist drivers with addressing vehicle issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet.
• Change oil, check batteries, lubricate equipment and vehicles.
• Complete daily checklists.
• Ensure equipment is parked and secured per DOT requirements.
• Maintain facility cleanliness.
• Take on duties assigned by management as needed.
