Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a Mobile Vehicle Mechanic in Eagan, MN to perform maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles. Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Job Description

Clean Harbors Eagan, MN is looking for a Mobile Vehicle Mechanic to join their safety-conscious team! This position will be responsible for routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs of all company fleet vehicles at branch locations throughout the area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure health and safety by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and procedures, and acting safely at all times.
  • Correct equipment deficiencies and perform preventative maintenance on company-owned equipment as directed by management.
  • Perform thorough inspections of equipment to identify any unsatisfactory conditions.
  • Fully comply with mandatory PPE requirements during all work-related activities.
  • Travel to other locations to perform repairs and maintenance as required.
  • Complete and submit all necessary paperwork for tracking PM schedules.
  • Maintain active light duty or DQ driver status as per vehicle type.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.

  • Ability to provide own basic tools.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory up to 70%.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
  • Ability to conduct inspections, scheduled PMs, and diagnostic tests to determine vehicle condition and identify worn or damaged parts for replacement.
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and physical assessment upon hire.
