Qualifications

• Proven experience as a diesel mechanic (mobile/fleet)
• Heavy‑duty diesel engines knowledge (Cummins, Detroit, PACCAR)
• Proficient with diagnostic software and tools
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record; CDL a plus
• Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety requirements
• Own tools preferred; reliable and detail‑oriented work ethic

Responsibilities:

Perform on-site diesel engine diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance at customer locations

Troubleshoot and repair heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and commercial fleet vehicles

Conduct brake inspections, repairs, and adjustments in compliance with DOT regulations

Service and repair electrical systems, cooling systems, transmissions, and drivetrains

Complete accurate work orders and document parts used and services performed

Maintain and organize mobile service truck, tools, and inventory

Communicate professionally with customers regarding repair status and recommendations

Requirements:

Proven experience as a diesel mechanic, preferably in a mobile or fleet service environment

Strong knowledge of heavy-duty diesel engines (Cummins, Detroit, Paccar, etc.)

Proficiency with diagnostic software and tools

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL a plus
