Job summary

Onsite Medical Imaging and Lab Services is seeking a Mobile Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to travel between facilities, performing ultrasound imaging for physicians and radiologists with high-quality exams, while ensuring patient safety and accurate documentation. Hours run 7:00 a.m.

to 6:00 p.m., with nights, weekends and holidays as needed and potential on-call. ARDMS certification and state licensure are preferred; a valid driver’s license and HIPAA compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ultrasound technology program with knowledge of universal precautions.
• ARDMS certification and state licensure preferred; ongoing maintenance required.
• Proven ability to travel to multiple facilities and operate GPS routes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and obtain accurate diagnostic images.
• Adjust imaging factors to ensure high-quality ultrasound examinations.
• Document findings clearly for physicians and radiologists.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
• Train other Ultrasound Techs as required.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and proper record-keeping.
