Job summary

Onsite Medical Imaging and Lab Services is seeking a mobile Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to travel to multiple healthcare facilities. You will perform ultrasound imaging under supervision, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety in diverse settings.

The role offers independence, flexibility, and direct patient interaction with hours 7:00a.m.–6:00p.m., Monday–Friday, with potential night/weekend shifts and on-call rotation. This is an hourly, full-time, non-exempt position.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ultrasound technology program with proven knowledge of universal precautions.
• ARDMS certification and applicable state licensure strongly preferred.
• Ongoing maintenance of ARDMS certification and licensure required.
• Familiar with travel routes, GPS usage, and regional geography.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain procedures.
• Position patients and assist those with mobility limitations to obtain diagnostic images.
• Follow Onsite ultrasound protocols for image documentation.
• Adjust technical factors to ensure optimal image quality and safety practices.
• Complete ultrasound worksheets explaining test findings to physicians.
