Job summary

Onsite Imaging Services, LLC is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer on Florida's West Coast to perform pelvic and transvaginal scans and multi-specialty studies, including vascular and small parts, in accordance with scope and standards.

The role requires ARDMS certification, CPR/BLS, and 1 year OB/GYN experience, with travel minimal. Expect in-person work with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography is desirable.
• Florida driver’s license and personal automobile
• Fluent in English (Spanish preferred)
• Active ARDMS, CPR, OSHA certification - (RDMS, RVT, RDCS, CCI)
• 1 year OB/GYN experience required
• Vascular/General/Abdomen and Small Parts experience preferred
• CPR/BLS Certification required

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history and physician's orders.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Takes on-call shift responsibilities as required.
• Positions patient and performs imaging procedures; ensures image quality and repeats as needed.
• Prepares equipment and supplies; selects imaging parameters.
• Implements safety standards and conducts quality control on equipment.
• Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and reports issues.
• Communicates effectively with ordering physicians and staff.
