Job summary

Onsite Imaging Services, LLC in Broward area is seeking multi-skilled sonographers for full-time, part-time, or contract roles. The position involves on-site mobile ultrasound imaging with a focus on OB/GYN, vascular, abdomen, and echocardiography, requiring ARDMS credentials and current CPR/BLS certification.

Qualified candidates will have Florida licensure potential, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or BS in Diagnostic Medical Sonography is desirable.
• Florida driver's license and personal automobile are required.
• Active ARDMS, CPR, OSHA certification (RDMS, RVT, RDCS, CCI).
• Minimum 1 year OB/GYN experience required; vascular and general/abdomen experience preferred.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and physician orders.
• Educate patients about procedures, equipment, and exams.
• Take on-call shift responsibilities as required.
• Position patients and perform imaging; adjust for image quality and repeat as needed.
• Prepare equipment and supplies; select imaging parameters.
• Apply safety standards and conduct quality control on equipment.
• Troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions; communicate with staff.

We are currently expanding our team and looking for talented, multi-specialty sonographers to join us.

Responsibilities:

• Reviews patient history and physician's orders.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment and exams to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation.
• Takes on call shift responsibilities as required by the department.
• Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s).Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patients and repeating procedures if clinically appropriate.
• Prepares equipment and supplies.
• Selects appropriate imaging parameters.
• Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment.
• Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary.
• Strong communication skills required, ability to communicate effectively with ordering physicians, other medical professionals, and administrative staff.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or Bachelor of Science degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography is desirable.

Additional Job Information:

Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Required Work Experience: Prior work is experience required.

Other Information: Must be registered in ARDMS (OBGYN,AB, RVT, BR, or PS).

Additional Education Info: Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or possess a foreign diploma recognized by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).

Minimal travel between accounts will be required, expecting all travel to be conducted in a timely manner ensuring punctuality.
