Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to help create the next generation of flagship devices. You will collaborate with Industrial Design, Hardware, Antenna, Reliability, Packaging, Safety and Marketing to drive production-ready solutions.

You will use Siemens NX and Pro/ENGINEER for design and ensure manufacturability in high-volume environments while coordinating with overseas manufacturers and suppliers as needed.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
• Experience with tolerance analysis, functional dimensioning and geometric tolerancing.

Responsibilities

• Lead iPhone integration and architecture efforts with internal teams and contract partners.
• Drive innovative problem solving and dynamic adaptation to new technical areas.
