Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands‑on MDM experience with Microsoft Intune and Apple Business Manager (iOS / iPadOS device staging).
• Experience coordinating physical device rollouts, hardware asset tracking, and depot/supplier handoffs.
• Willingness and ability to travel nationwide 25–50% to industrial environments (mechanical shops, engineering depots, maintenance yards).
• Solid understanding of mobile OS settings, Wi‑Fi/cellular provisioning, application deployment pipelines, and identity/access checks.
• Experience maintaining device distribution logs and adhering to cybersecurity/compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Device Staging & MDM Configuration: Execute enrollment workflows and configuration profiles using Microsoft Intune and Apple Business Manager to ensure zero‑touch readiness before shipment to field units.
• Lifecycle & Inventory Logistics: Manage end‑to‑end device delivery tracking, returns, depot repairs, hardware swaps, and asset management routines across regional hubs and maintenance facilities.
• Field Site Technical Deployment: Travel nationwide (25‑50%) to mechanical, maintenance, and engineering facilities to assist with on‑site device distribution, network/Wi‑Fi authentication, and initial login verification.
• Supplier & Depot Coordination: Partner with hardware vendors, telecom carriers, and supplier‑side provisioning depots to coordinate hardware staging batches, SIM activation, and bulk accessory fulfillment.
• Issue Triage & Diagnostics: Identify and resolve enrollment failures, credential issues, application installation errors, and device compliance flags alongside Digital Technology support teams.
• Operational Reporting: Track rollout status, active device inventory, and failure rates using tools such as Excel, SharePoint, Jira, or ServiceNow to keep delivery schedules on track.

Working closely with Digital Technology teams, Supplier Management, and an on‑site Change Management Coordinator, you will manage day‑to‑day device lifecycle activities‑including zero‑touch staging, Microsoft Intune enrollment, Apple Business Manager assignments, and field deployment logistics. This role requires regular travel to mechanical shops, rail yards, and maintenance facilities across the country to ensure field‑based employees receive fully configured, compliant, and operational mobile technology.

Field Support Capability: Willingness and ability to travel nationwide 25‑50% to industrial environments (mechanical shops, engineering depots, maintenance yards).

Troubleshooting Aptitude: Solid understanding of mobile OS settings, Wi‑Fi/cellular provisioning, application deployment pipelines, and identity/access checks.

Process Discipline & Documentation: Experience maintaining device distribution logs, updating Jira tickets, and adhering to strict cybersecurity/compliance standards.
