Job summary

360care is seeking a traveling dental assistant to support physicians in long-term care facilities across Kentucky. You will maintain electronic medical records, update odontograms, assist with patient care, and ensure clean and organized clinical spaces during dental visits.

This role requires driving between facilities, coordinating with the dentist, and maintaining HIPAA/OSHA compliance while delivering quality patient care and education.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must have good computer skills and medical terminology experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctor with patient care in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Reviews, verifies and maintains current and accurate clinical records, charts and medical history through electronic medical records.
• Maintains and updates patient odontogram for every patient encounter.
• Provides daily feedback and works in conjunction with branch office to optimize dental schedule and reporting.
• Balance and generate daily production reports and provide to dentist upon departure.
• Follows all OSHA and HIPAA guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with all patients, family members, providers, faculty and staff.
• Requires travel up to 100% of the time. Must be willing to service a 2.5 hour radius.
