Lumina Healthcare Llc operates a mobile dental practice, traveling by company van to multiple facilities within a designated territory in Bakersfield, CA. The Dental Assistant will prepare clinical carts, assist the dentist, and ensure instruments are sterilized at day’s end.

The role requires a Dental Certificate and X-ray Certification, a valid CA/AZ driver’s license, and comfort with computer-based training and patient records. Lifting up to 75 pounds is expected.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience as a dental assistant or equivalent is preferred
• Dental Certificate and X-ray Certification required
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
• Familiar with basic computer usage for online training and patient records access
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds of dental equipment

Responsabilités

• Prepare clinical cart and supplies for day’s schedule
• Drive to and from health care facilities in company vehicle
• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control
• Manage patient records and confidentiality
• Load equipment and supplies into vehicle and transport to facilities
• Verify patient identification prior to treatment
• Provide oral hygiene instructions to patients
