Job summary

PopUp Smiles is seeking a National Traveling Dental Assistant to bring high-quality dental care to workplaces and communities across the United States. This role offers travel, varied clinical settings, and meaningful patient interactions.

You’ll support dentists on mobile teams, prepare rooms, assist chairside, take radiographs where allowed, and uphold HIPAA and infection-control standards while delivering friendly, professional care.

Qualifications

• :Dental assisting education, experience, or credentials appropriate for assigned duties and applicable state requirements.
• :Knowledge of dental instruments, chairside assisting techniques, sterilization, and infection control.
• :Strong communication, organization, and patient service skills.
• :Ability to work effectively with different dentists and clinical teams.
• :Willingness and ability to travel nationwide, including overnight assignments.
• :Flexibility to accommodate changing locations and schedules.
• :Ability to maintain required certifications and credentials for assigned duties.
• :Commitment to patient safety, teamwork, and quality care.

Responsibilities

• :Travel to assigned locations throughout the United States to support mobile dental operations.
• :Prepare treatment areas, instruments, equipment, and patients for dental procedures.
• :Provide chairside assistance to dentists during examinations and treatments.
• :Help create a welcoming and comfortable experience for every patient.
• :Take dental radiographs when permitted by applicable state laws and credentials.
• :Follow proper sterilization, disinfection, and infection control procedures.
• :Maintain accurate patient records and assist with clinical documentation.
• :Collaborate with dentists, hygienists, and field operations teams to support efficient patient flow.
• :Assist with new location launches, temporary staffing needs, and special clinical initiatives.
• :Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and applicable state regulations.
• :Represent PopUp Smiles with professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude at every assignment.
