Job summary

DirectShifts is seeking a reliable Chairside Dental Assistant to support the DDS in long-term care facilities. You will travel to client sites, assist with treatments, and coordinate with facility staff to meet patient needs.

The role requires 3-5 years of chairside experience, X-ray certification, a valid driver’s license, and a willingness to travel up to 2.5 hours. A comprehensive benefits package and mileage reimbursement are provided.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of clinical Chairside Dental Assistant experience.
• X-ray certification is required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel up to 2.5 hours.

Responsibilities

• Transport, set up and break down equipment and supplies in the facility work space.
• Work with nursing home staff to coordinate charts.
• Enter chart notes at the time of treatment.
• Maintain and clean dental equipment regularly.
• Inventory supplies and place orders as needed.
• Ship and receive denture cases from the lab daily.
