Job summary

DirectShifts is seeking a part-time Chairside Dental Assistant to support the DDS in long-term care facilities. The role requires driving between facilities, setting up treatment rooms, and coordinating with nursing staff to ensure smooth patient care.

You will document treatment notes, manage supply inventories, and handle denture lab shipments. A valid X-ray certification and 3–5 years of clinical experience are required, along with a reliable vehicle and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of clinical chairside dental assisting experience.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel up to 2.5 hours.
• Own reliable transportation.
• X-ray certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance to DDS during treatments.
• Transport, set up and take down equipment and supplies.
• Coordinate charts with nursing home contacts.
• Enter chart notes at the time of treatment.
• Maintain dental equipment with regular cleaning and maintenance.
• Inventory supplies and place orders.
• Ship and receive denture cases daily.
