Job summary

Assistance Plus in Newport, ME is seeking a Daily Living Support Specialist (DLSS) to assist adults with behavioral health needs in their home and community. The DLSS will travel within a 30-mile radius of their home and transport clients as required.

The role emphasizes safety, care-plan alignment, and ongoing training, with four hours of clinical supervision monthly and at least 20 training hours annually.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Entry level computer experience and access to email/internet.
• MHRT/1 certification will be provided/training offered.

Responsibilities

• Ensure plan of care drives all service activities.
• Ensure the safety of the clients while in their homes and community.
• Attend and participate in a minimum of four hours per month of clinical supervision.
• Accumulate a minimum of 20 hours of training annually.
• Travel within a 30 mile radius of home and transport clients.
