Job summary

The CT Technologist will support Wellstar Medical Group's New Mobile CT Unit in Augusta, GA, delivering safe, high‑quality imaging and a compassionate patient experience. Technologists are key members of a collaborative care team and provide consistent, patient‑centered service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT Radiography (ARRTR), ARRT CT certification, BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and maintain ALARA dose.
• Disinfect and maintain rooms/equipment per infection-control schedules and report issues.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders and two patient identifiers before exams.
• Explain procedures and prep clearly using AIDET; address patient questions and anxiety.
• Document studies accurately in RIS/PACS and ensure finalization.
