Job summary

The County of Marin's Department of Health & Human Services seeks Crisis Specialist (Associate or Licensed) for the Mobile Crisis Continuum in Marin County. You will perform field crisis assessment, safety planning, and rapid intervention within a two-person team, coordinating with hospitals, law enforcement, schools, and community partners.

We offer a $10,000 signing bonus for regular full-time hires, with shift-based coverage including days, evenings, weekends, and nights.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Doctoral degree with clinical supervision experience
• State licensing or waiver eligibility with CA Board of Behavioral Sciences within six years
• Valid California driver’s license for County business

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis assessment and safety planning for individuals in crisis
• Deliver field/community-based response and collaboration with a two-person team
• Document using Medi-Cal billing and maintain electronic charts in the County's EHR
• Collaborate with hospitals, law enforcement, and schools to provide appropriate intervention and resource linkage
