Network180 in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Mobile Crisis Response Clinician to work with Kent County Sheriff Deputies, delivering trauma-informed care, assessing for suicide risk, and connecting community members to mental health, substance use, and I/DD services.

This full-time, in-person role offers four 10-hour shifts (7:00am–5:00pm) at 790 Fuller Ave NE and provides a comprehensive benefits package with development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in SW or Counseling required.
• Licensure or eligibility within three months of hire.
• Knowledge of psychological, emotional, and sociological assessment.
• Strong ethics and professional standards of practice.
• Computer skills including word processing, email and data entry.

We are seeking a Mobile Crisis Response Clinicianto provide intervention services as a member of a community-based team working collaboratively with Kent County Sheriff Deputies to provide trauma-informed care, assess for suicide risk, and link community members living in Kent County to appropriate mental health, substance use, and I/DD services.

This position is 40 hours a week, working four 10-hour shifts, from 7:00am to 5:00pm. This assignment is in person at 790 Fuller Ave NE Grand Rapids, Michigan 49503, Kent County Sherrif’s Office, and within the Kent County community.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree in Social Work Counseling, or Counseling Psychology.
• Limited or full licensure in the State of Michigan as a licensed master social worker, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, OR be eligible for a limited license as stated above and obtain that licensure within three (3) months of hire.
• Thorough working knowledge of the practices and principles of psychological, emotional, and sociological assessment and diagnosis.
• Thorough working knowledge of professional ethics and standards of practice.
• Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, email, database management, and data entry skills.
• Demonstrated experience communicating clearly and concisely in stressful situations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and skills and capabilities of bridging language/cultural barriers to Network180 services within diverse communities.
• For Network180 Mobile Crisis Response Clinician positions: Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation for job related use.
• For GRPD Co-response and Kent County Co-response positions: Complete and successfully pass an extensive and thorough law enforcement background investigation and interview.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Full Licensure in the State of Michigan as a licensed master social worker, professional counselor, or marriage and family therapist .
• One year of experience in community-based crisis intervention.
• Specialized training and at least one year of experience in the examination, evaluation, and treatment of minors and their families.
• Credentialed through the Michigan Certificate Board for Addiction Professionals.
• Three years of post-graduate experience.
• Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued.
