Job summary

Canvas Health in Shakopee, MN is seeking a Mobile Crisis Practitioner to join our mobile crisis response team. This role provides triage, diagnostic and crisis intervention services in-home, at our offices, and via telehealth.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences and 2,000+ hours delivering supervised services. A retention bonus of up to $5,000 is offered, with initial $2,500 after six months and the balance after twelve months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in behavioral sciences.
• Completed 2,000+ hours delivering supervised services to clients with mental illness, substance use disorder, or emotional disturbance.
• Or currently serving a federally recognized tribe and meets the definition of vendor of medical care.

Responsibilities

• Answering phones to triage and determine the need for mobile crisis response.
• Provide diagnostic and crisis assessment, crisis intervention and additional therapeutic services as indicated.
• Services are provided in-home, office-based, and via telehealth.
