Job summary

Canvas Health is seeking a Mobile Crisis Practitioner to join the Anoka County team in Fridley, MN. The role triages crises by phone, conducts assessments, and provides intervention as part of a mobile crisis response unit. Services occur in-home, in-clinic, and via telehealth.

The position requires a behavioral sciences degree and supervised clinical hours; favorable experience with diverse populations is preferred. The role offers a full-time schedule and a retention bonus plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences required.
• Completed 2,000+ hours delivering supervised services to clients with mental illness or substance use disorder.
• Or currently serving a federally recognized tribe and meets the definition of 'vendor of medical care.'

Responsibilities

• Answer phones to triage and determine the need for mobile crisis response.
• Provide diagnostic and crisis assessment, crisis intervention, and additional therapeutic services as indicated.
• Deliver services as part of a mobile crisis response team in-home, at the office, and via telehealth.
