The position supports de-escalation, safety planning, and linkage to ongoing behavioral health services, while collaborating with clinicians and maintaining strong peer boundaries.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the service area.
• Experience in service-oriented work is beneficial but not required.
• Past or present consumer of mental health or substance use services is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Respond to behavioral health crises as a member of the Mobile Crisis Team.
• Engage individuals to provide peer support, empathy, and recovery-focused engagement.
• Assist with de-escalation, safety planning, and crisis stabilization.
• Collaborate with clinicians while maintaining the peer role.
• Support development of individualized crisis safety plans and link to resources.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
