Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or related field.
• Minimum 2 years post-degree mental health or substance use experience; 4 years if non-human services degree.
• At least 1 year crisis management experience in 24/7 settings; 20 hours training in crisis interventions within 90 days.
• Must meet Qualified Professional status per 10A NCAC 27G .0104.
• Co-occurring disorders experience preferred; trauma-informed care training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond in-person to crisis calls in community settings, providing triage and stabilization.
• Assess eligibility using NC-SNAP or ASAM criteria under LP supervision.
• Implement PCP-based interventions, coping skills, safety planning and linkage to supports.
• Collaborate with LP to update PCPs and address crisis-related goals.
• Supervise Associate Professionals and Paraprofessionals under supervision plan.
• Document interventions in service notes with date, purpose, and outcomes.
• Coordinate with emergency services and providers to ensure follow-up care.
• Participate in 24/7 first-responder coverage and telehealth as directed.
• Travel to community locations and respond to crises in various environments.
