Job summary

Southeastern Life Center in Sanford, NC is seeking a part-time Mobile Crisis Management Specialist (QP) to deliver in-person crisis intervention and stabilization under supervision. The Qualified Professional conducts crisis assessments with NC-SNAP or ASAM Criteria, documents thoroughly, and collaborates with licensed professionals to update plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services field.
• Minimum 2 years post-degree experience in mental health or substance use services.
• Qualified Professional status with crisis intervention competencies.
• CADC certification preferred or obtainable.
• Valid NC driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Respond in-person to crisis calls, providing triage, de-escalation, and stabilization.
• Conduct crisis assessments using NC-SNAP or ASAM Criteria under supervision.
• Implement PCP interventions (coping skills, safety planning, linkage to supports).
• Collaborate with the Licensed Professional to update PCPs addressing crisis goals.
• Supervise Associate Professionals and Paraprofessionals under an individualized plan.
• Document interventions in service notes with date, purpose, and outcomes.
• Coordinate with emergency services and providers for follow-up care.
• Participate in 24/7 first-responder coverage and on-call shifts.
