Job summary

Forks Community Hospital seeks a Designated Crisis Responder to provide timely mobile crisis response, clinical assessment and stabilization for individuals of all ages in the Forks area. This role includes performing involuntary treatment evaluations under Washington state codes, as well as proactive crisis management and safety planning to support patients, families and the community.

Experience in crisis intervention and collaboration with mental health services is essential; state training

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology or related field.
• 2 years direct experience in crisis intervention or working with the chronically mentally ill.
• Must complete state sponsored DCR training with 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides timely mobile crisis response, clinical assessment and stabilization for individuals of all ages.
• Performs involuntary treatment evaluations under RCW 71.05, 71.34, and 70.96B.
• Engages in proactive crisis management and safety planning.
