Job summary

Riverside Community Care in Milford, MA is seeking a Peer Specialist for Mobile Crisis Intervention. You will use your lived experience to provide hope, psychoeducation, crisis self-management guidance, and help individuals connect with community resources during and after MCI.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Peer Specialist (or commitment to certification within 6–12 months); valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Basic computer fluency (including Microsoft Office).
• Must be a Certified Peer Specialist or begin certification within 6–12 months of hire.
• Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and regular access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Convey hope and provide psychoeducation on recovery and crisis self-management.
• Assist in arranging services after MCI intervention and support transitions to follow-up services with individuals and families.
• Provide similar peer support in MCI and Adult CCS as staffing and time permit.
