Job summary

Community Counseling Solutions is seeking a Mobile Crisis Response Alcohol and Drug Counselor to join a dedicated 24-hour crisis team in Boardman, OR. The role supports community members, law enforcement, and first responders with rapid evaluation, treatment planning, and referrals in clinics, homes, telehealth, and in-mobile settings.

This position requires a high school diploma, background check, and licensure options (CADC R/I) preferred with a two-year certification window.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Able to pass a criminal history background check.
• CADC R, I or II preferred but not required; must register/certify within 2 years if not already.
• Substance use disorder recovery documented for the past two years.
• Experience or knowledge of behavioral health/chemical dependency systems or crisis response preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Engages community stakeholders as part of a 24-hour crisis response team and responds to contacts from community members, law enforcement, first responders, and hospitals.
• Performs comprehensive alcohol and drug evaluation, screening, assessment and referrals in various settings.
• Works with QMHPs, CADCs, and peers in a two-person team to engage clients in the community and at office locations.
• Establishes short-term goals with clients, provides follow-up services, and makes referrals as needed.
• Assists in data gathering, case coordination, safety planning, and discharge planning with clients and agencies.
