Job summary

Community Counseling Solutions is seeking a Mobile Crisis Response Alcohol and Drug Counselor in Boardman, OR. This 1.0 FTE, non-exempt role requires Wed-Sat, 8am-7pm, with a pay range of $25.19-$36.97 per hour and a $5,500 hiring bonus.

The position delivers culturally competent crisis intervention and follow-up, coordinates with partners, and adheres to Oregon rules and CCS mission in a team-based setting. Training and supervision are provided as needed.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• CADC R, I or II preferred but not required; if not registered or certified, must register upon employment and be certified within 2 years.
• Able to pass a criminal history background check.
• Experience with or knowledge of behavioral health/chemical dependency systems or crisis response preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Engages community stakeholders as part of a 24-hour crisis response team.
• Performs comprehensive A&D evaluation, screening, assessment, treatment planning and referrals in various settings.
• Works with QMHP’s, CADC’s and peers in a two-person team to engage clients in the community and at office locations.
• Establishes short-term goals with clients, provides follow-up services as needed, and makes appropriate referrals.
• Demonstrates ability to assimilate data from a wide range of observations and uses clinical techniques to gather history.
• Utilizes agency software to prepare client records and reports and completes paperwork timely.

Education
