Job summary

Center for Human Development (CHD) is seeking a 2nd Shift Co-Response Crisis Clinician (Master’s Level, Licensed or Licensed Eligible) to join the Mobile Crisis Team in Holyoke, MA. The role supports police behavioral health responses, performs crisis triage, and coordinates care across CHD programs.

Required licensure (LCSW/LICSW/LMHC) or eligibility, and experience in crisis intervention, individual/family therapy, with bilingual English/Spanish encouraged.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in mental health field required or licensed eligible.
• LCSW, LICSW or LMHC license required.
• Experience with individual, family and group therapy and crisis intervention.
• Bilingual English/Spanish encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis triage, evaluations, disposition recommendations and follow-up interventions.
• Support Police Departments’ quick and efficient response to behavioral health calls.
• Assess needs, determine least restrictive level of care and arrange transitions.
• Collaborate with CHD AMCI/YMCI and outpatient/crisis programs.
• Engage diverse clients with evidence-based practices and strong diagnostic skills.
