Job summary

Bluebonnet Trails Community Services seeks a Crisis Clinician for Mobile Crisis Outreach (MCOT) to respond to behavioral health crises in Burnet and Williamson Counties. The role delivers crisis intervention, screening, and linkage to ongoing services, with follow-up and recovery planning to support rapid stabilization.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in human services (or 24 credits in HS) and a Texas driver’s license; 2+ years in case management preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field.
• Two years of case management experience.
• Valid Texas Driver's License with approved status.

Responsibilities

• Provides empathetic active listening and de-escalation.
• Engages in person-centered safety planning using critical thinking and solution-focused problem solving.
• Ensures crisis follow-up and relapse prevention after crisis is resolved.
• Communicates effectively with people and families from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
• Facilities and coordinates placement.
• Partners with families, first responders, schools, hospitals, and community agencies.
• Uses integrated computer database programs to access files and document services; organizes work.
