Job summary

The Manitowoc Company in Baton Rouge, LA is hiring a Crane Mechanic/Technician. The role requires 2 years of crane repair experience and familiarity with Grove RT & TMS, GMK European, Manitowoc EPIC or traditional cranes, and National Boom Trucks.

You must read electrical and hydraulic schematics and have welding experience or the ability to obtain AWS D1.1 certification within 3–6 months. Expect to maintain tools, demonstrate strong customer focus, possess a valid driver’s license, and use

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2 years of crane mechanic/technician experience preferred.
• Experience with Grove RT, TMS, GMK, Manitowoc EPIC or traditional cranes; National Boom Trucks preferred.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics; welding with AWS D1.1 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read electrical and hydraulic schematics to diagnose and repair crane systems.
• Perform safe and efficient crane maintenance and repairs with customer focus.
• Maintain tools and comply with PPE and safety rules.
• Possess valid driver's license and keep a clean driving record.
