Zusammenfassung

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for mobile crane repair at active jobsites. The role requires full-time travel across Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma with a typical 50-hour work week and $40–$50 per hour pay depending on experience. This is a direct hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with cranes or heavy equipment, diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems, and can read manuals and schematics. Travel is a core element of the job.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of mechanical experience, preferably with cranes or heavy equipment.
• Strong experience troubleshooting and repairing diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.
• Experience with tower cranes or other crane equipment is preferred.
• Familiarity with Liebherr, Potain, Terex, or similar crane equipment manufacturers is a plus.
• OEM-specific training or manufacturer certifications are preferred—not required.
• Ability to independently diagnose mechanical problems and perform field repairs.

Aufgaben

• Perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs on cranes and heavy equipment at active jobsites.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel engine issues.
• Inspect crane systems, booms, brakes, engines, and other major components to identify defects and determine necessary repairs.
• Repair, replace, and rebuild damaged or worn parts and equipment components.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, hydraulic systems, and mechanical assemblies.
• Test equipment after repairs to verify safe and proper operation.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and equipment diagrams.
• Use hand tools, specialty tools, gauges, and diagnostic equipment to complete repairs.
