Job summary

CraneWorks in Olathe, KS is seeking a Field Service Technician to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain mobile crane equipment, including various crane types. The role requires mechanical experience with electrical and hydraulic systems, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

You will travel to job sites, document work, and ensure safety and OEM compliance. This position includes overtime and weekend work as needed, plus a company truck, laptop, and cell phone for field service.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum as Mobile Crane Mechanic/Technician.
• Ability to diagnose defects and inspect cranes.
• Knowledge of crane controls and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair and maintain crane equipment.
• Test equipment after repair to OEM specs.
• Read manuals, parts catalogs, and blueprints.
• Maintain safety compliance and complete reports promptly.
• Travel up to 4 days; overtime and weekend work possible.
