Job summary

CraneWorks is seeking a Field Service Technician in Midland/Odessa to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of crane equipment, including mobile cranes. The role requires hands-on mechanical work with electrical and hydraulic systems and a customer-focused approach to grow business opportunities and relationships.

Candidates will participate in a skill assessment during the interview process. The job includes overtime, weekend work, and periodic travel, with access to company trucks

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Mobile Crane Mechanic/Technician.
• Working knowledge of CANBUS, PAT, ECOS, LICCON, and Greer systems.
• Reads and interprets manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Ability to diagnose defects and inspect cranes to ensure OEM specs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain crane equipment.
• Operate and inspect cranes including All Terrain, Rough Terrain, Crawler, Boom Trucks.
• Prepare jobs by checking parts and drawings for accuracy.
• Complete reports, time sheets, and paperwork timely and accurately.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and ensure safety compliance.
