The Order of Malta Lebanon has been operating in the health and social welfare sectors since 1957. It manages a network of 60 projects serving the most vulnerable populations, across the Lebanese territory including primary healthcare centers, mobile medical units, elderly day care centers, hosting centers for the differently abled and projects for the displaced and refugees as well as an agro-humanitarian project within the catchment areas of its centers.

SUMMARY

The Field Coordinator Assistant assists the Field Coordinator in the activity’s implementation and collection of required data. He/she coordinates with other humanitarian participants to facilitate the job performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensures that food safety standards are applied during food preparation/transportation/serving.
• Observes the cooking process of the hot meals required for the distribution.
• Coordinates with the community kitchen and the field coordinator in setting up the weekly menu.
• Serves the hot meals in the Mobile Community Kitchen.
• Supports the field coordinator in conducting assessments for the beneficiaries and prepares routing.
• Performs necessary data entry and assists the field coordinator in the site setup.
• Helps in the general cleanup of the food truck.
• Works in cooperation with other staff members.
• Ensures a well-maintained food truck and its equipment.
• Applies and follows code of ethics, values, mission, and vision of Order of Malta – Lebanon.
• Performs other related duties assigned by the Field Coordinator.
